Why choose us?

We're not just an introductory service; we're a community.

We focus on building connections within our area, supporting local businesses, and fostering long term relationships you can trust.

Here's just some of the reasons why BS3 Community Care is the right choice for you:

What are the benefits of seeking and receiving care through BS3

More Affordable, Lower Fees

Our service is designed to be affordable. Most of your payment goes to your care provider, with only a small fee covering our costs. This way, you get the care you need without high fees going into the pockets of commercial businesses.

Trusted and Vetted Providers

Choose from our directory of fully vetted, approved providers. Each one meets our high standards, so you can trust you're in good hands.

We Find the Right Care for You

Tell us what you need, and we'll find the perfect care provider. We do the hard work, so you don't have to. Plus, we set up a face-to-face introduction so you can meet them and see if they're a good fit.

Holistic Care and wellbeing services

Whether you are looking for ad hoc hourly support, overnight care, short or long-term support etc, we have care providers that can help. We can even signpost you to other holistic services such as physiotherapy, massage therapy, nutritionists, chiropodists, amongst many others.

Your Choice, Your Way

You choose who supports you. This way, you can build a strong relationship with your care provider. It's all about finding the right match for you.

Flexible funding Options

We accept those on direct payments, personal health budgets, as well as private payers. We also work with Bristol City Council, Community Health (Sirona) and other local agencies, and are very happy to take referrals.

Just let us know if you need guidance on funding your care needs and we’ll help the best we can.

Simple and Convenient Payments

Our payment process is simple and stress-free. Pay online, over the phone, or at one of our centres. We handle the rest so you can focus on getting the support you need.

Connecting You to Local Services

We know the BS3 area inside out. Need help with social activities, community groups, or other services? We can point you in the right direction and even help with referrals.

Consistent Support from a Local Manager

Unlike some UK wide digital-only agencies, we offer personal support. You'll have a dedicated manager to help with any questions or issues. Need a new care provider when your current one is away? Let us know, and we’ll do our best to help.

* Please note that although some of our self-employed care workers may hold their own professional CQC registration, and training and qualifications which enable them to provide personal or specialist medical care - our community business is not CQC regulated and the majority of our care workers provide non-medical care and support.

What are the benefits of providing care through BS3

Better Pay

We believe care work deserves more than minimum wage. As a self-employed care provider at BS3 Community Care, you get to set your own rates, ensuring you get paid fairly for the skill and responsibility your job requires.

New Clients

We help you find new clients in the local area, connecting you with people who match your expertise and preferences.

Better matches

As a self-employed care provider, you get to choose how many hours you work, when and who you work with. This really is an opportunity that’s made to fit in with your lifestyle and other commitments.

We also know how important the professional relationship you have with your clients is and consider personality and shared interests to create better matches.

Support for Self-Employment

If you're new to self-employment, we offer support and can guide you to various business resources and initiatives across Bristol. We’re here to help you navigate the ins and outs of running your own business and will be offering bespoke workshops and 1 to 1 support sessions.

Professional Development

You don’t need to have previous experience or qualifications in care work – we are happy to work with you to help you become a skilled and confident independent care provider.

We provide opportunities for professional training and continuous development through our partnerships with other voluntary sector organisations, training providers, and business support centres.

Peer Support

Join our peer meetups and events to connect with other local care workers and service providers. It's a great way to learn, share best practices, and build a network of like-minded professionals.

Extra Perks

As a BS3 Approved Provider, you get a free membership to the National Association of Care and Support Workers (NACAS), discounted public liability insurance, and access to other health and social care discounts.

And most importantly you get to be part of a thriving community pioneering a new and exciting way of providing care to those in our local area.
