Hello! My name is Virginia. I'm a qualified gardener with 5 years' experience working across the local area. Before I became a gardener, I trained as a nurse and worked as a care assistant for just over 5 years, so have a good foundation and understanding of the different challenges people face. Previous to that I did a degree and worked in offices for a long time. I'm passionate about: Helping people to create beautiful, healthy gardens that make them feel happy to be in (or to look at, if being outdoors isn't possible); helping nature back into the city wherever this can be done; and generally being of service to people and the community. I have a very sweet and gentle dog called Maggie who often comes with me to work, but I can leave her at home if you don't like dogs! In my spare time I like going for walks, visiting gardens and other interesting places, and I enjoy reading. My availability is flexible: I currently work in Bath fortnightly on a Friday, and in Bristol on the other days of the week. It would be lovely to meet you!
